A candle is a candle, right?  What's the difference between the cheap candles from the supermarket and a beeswax candle?
 
The difference is with a beeswax candle, you are not poisoning yourself with the toxins cheaper candles release into the air.  

Beeswax candles burn cleanly.  In fact, beeswax candles help cleanse the air from mold spores, odours and other floating nasties.

Beeswax candles give off a natural, delicate fragrance and actually purify the air while they burn. This is because beeswax is a natural ioniser - it emits negative ions when burned. The negative ions attract positively charged ions floating in the air such as dusts, pollens, nasty odours, viruses, bacteria, germs, and even toxic residues and emissions from household furnishings. As a result, all these nasties are burnt off by the burning wick of the candle, purifying the air in your space. (As seen on “Better Homes and Gardens”)
 
WICKS:
Our wicks are made out of all natural fibres and they contain no lead or other harmful metals.  They have a metal tab on their base to keep them upright and burn right down to the end of the candle.
 
POSTAGE: 
Our candles are wrapped in tissue paper and sent in cardboard boxes, to keep them safe during postage.  

 
Beeswax is a natural product, depending on the seasons, what the bees have been eating, etc.  The smell of warm wax and honey is just wonderful.  It seems to warm the coldest room in no time.  And it is reassuring to know that you are also clearing the air of dust and mold spores, not to mention how many cold and flu germs.  A must for every room - particularly one in the bedroom before sleep.  (Remember never to leave a lighted candle unattended.)  Even lighting the candle for half an hour before bed can lead to a better nights sleep.
