This honey has NOT been boiled or treated with any chemicals.  It retains it's special healing qualities.  An application of a dab of real honey can soothe and heal wounds.  It neutralises chemical burns.  It helps the skin retain moisture.  It can prove to be effective when antibiotics and drugs have failed.

 

The honey you buy in the supermarket has been treated so that it will flow smoothly out of the bottle.  It will look exactly the same forever - however, it is dead. 

 

REAL honey will crystallize when left standing for a long period of time.  This is what natural honey does.  Honey does not need to be treated.  It will last indefinitely.  Crystallized honey has been found in Egyptian tombs, still perfectly edible after thousands of years.  Some people prefer the taste and texture of crystallized honey.  If that isn't your thing, you can easily make your real honey into a liquid again by standing it in the sun, or place your honey container in a basin of warm water.  Now, how difficult is that?
