Ketura's Honey and Honeycomb - Organic Australian Honey, Bee Skin Care Products and more...
Our Family

This photo was taken at my younger brother's engagement party.  I was to be a bridesmaid and this handsome chappie was to be a groomsman...

In a market one day, a beautiful person casually mentioned to me a simple yet brilliant traditional skin care recipe - involving only olive oil, beeswax and honey. (From the bottom of my heart - I thank you!) While pregnant with our first daughter, I played around with this recipe. I was very impressed with the results. Finally, I had something to soothe my eczema.  My cracked hands during winter were a thing of the past.

When my new-born daughter Serenity developed a terrible nappy rash from disposable nappies, I frantically tried every other product available. One day I ran out of my bought lotions and potions - in desperation I put on a dollop of my beeswax body butter. Repeating it with every nappy change, the rash cleared up within 6 hours! When my husband came home from work, he almost couldn't believe that it was the same baby.

I have spent the last three years improving the recipe and my method. After sharing these products with my friends and family, I would like to offer it now to you.  Soothed, healthy skin should be something everyone enjoys.

With our recued white pigeons from the RSPCA it was love at fist sight.  (Although adopted on different days & had apparently never seen each other before.)  They laid an egg a few days later (on Christmas day) and today we noticed it had hatched into a fine looking chick!  Well, not that we can see it very well.  Mummy and Daddy pigeon are very protective!
